• The KKK were a group of white extreamists
• KKK were the poeple behind the assassination of Martin Luther King
• The KKK was formed in 1865
• They were known for there white robes that they wore when they were out killing blacks
• The KKK killed, murderd and tortured inocent and helpless balck people of America
• Quite a few of the members were part of the law enforcers
• With the actions of the kkk more than 25 race riots were caused
• they spent around £17,000,000 establishing over 4,000 schools and 100 hospitals
• They held ceremonies infront of burning crosses
•   William joseph simmons founded the second ku klux klan in 1915. The name "Ku Klux Klan" began to be used by several independent groups. Beginning in the 1950s, individual Klan groups began to resist the Civil Rights Movement by bombing houses in transitional neighborhoods and the houses of activists, as well as by physical violence, intimidation and assassination.
